Shipping Update

Dear Backers,

we worked hard and packaged the majority of your orders. 

Unfortunately, there have been some quality issues with the surface of the Galaxy Gold and Rose Moon pens, so we did not want to send them out like this. We hoped those issues would get resolved quickly, so that all backers could receive their package at the same time. But since the new Rose Moon and Galaxy Gold pens took longer than expected, we decided to already send out the complete packages now.

So we have started to ship packages on 28th February. 
We really hope you will like the final product as much as we do and can't wait to hear your feedback ;)

All backers who receive a Galaxy Gold or Rose Moon pen need to be patient a bit longer - we expect those pens to arrive here in Munich in mid-March. We sincerely apologize for this delay!

We will send you all a coupon for a big discount in our upcoming e-commerce store.

You will notice that we have added another softer spring to your package. So you can change it depending on your preference.

To prevent any confusion, we want to give you a short instruction how to disassemble the cap of the pen, in case you want to exchange the refill or spring:

1. You shift the cap to the front, so that the pen is in its idle position (tip of refill not visible).
2. You hold the shank of the pen (gap area) with your thumb and index finger of one hand.
3. You unscrew the cap with your other hand.

Hey Backers,

the pens arrived at our office in Munich last week and we are very excited to see the final product. We are currently doing the quality control of the pens,. We take care of this process by ourselves. So it takes time to check that every KOSMOS is in flawless condition.

We plan to pack the goods in chronological order of backers. We will work hard to ship all pens to you guys this month. 

We will keep you updated after we have finished our quality control.

Dear Kosmonauts,

we are happy to tell you that all KOSMOS pens are in the final stage of assembly and quality control process. Our manufacturer will send all pens to Munich via priority shipping in this week. We will do a final quality check by ourselves here in Munich to make sure that every pen is in perfect condition. So we expect to send out all rewards in February.

We will process your shipping addresses soon. So please, check whether your address in Backerkit is correct and update if it changed recently. We will also send a final reminder about that before we start shipping. 
We also want to remind all backers, that you need to have a mail box in order to receive your package. If you do not have a mail box, please contact us.

The Wooden Holders already arrived at our offices here in Munich. They look great! The American Oak goes really well with the sleek design:

KOSMOS Clip available for Pre-Order

Hey everyone! :)

We are happy to tell you that our KOSMOS Clip is available for pre-order now. 

We offer the clip in two colors: matt black and matt silver. So for all color versions it either matches the color of the pen's gap or the color of the pen's barrel. Every clip comes with a special chrome plating on the inside of the clip's ring. This plating prevents scratching the pen when you shift it on. However, this special plating is not designed for shifting the clip on and off everyday, which can still result in scratches eventually. But we think most of you will keep using KOSMOS constantly either with or without a clip.

How to get the KOSMOS Clip as a Kickstarter Backer:

We were thinking a lot about what would be the easiest way for you to add this product to your existing order. We decided to unlock your surveys on Backerkit again, so that you can simply get the clip in the add-on section there. 
There are 2 ways to get back to your survey and choose the KOSMOS Clip as an add-on:

• You go here: https://kosmos.backerkit.com/ and enter your Kickstarter Email.
• You can also use the direct link in your Backerkit Survey Email that we sent to you in September.

If you encounter any problems in finding your survey and adding the clip, don't hesitate to contact us personally.

Please note that you cannot do changes on your other add-on orders, since they were already locked down before. Contact us personally if you want to do so.
